Description : 4 Star, Superior First Class Historical Hotel The hotel is located near the Nyhavn area, within walking distance of the Royal Palace and Royal theatre. A much sought after location in a fashionable part of Copenhagen. The superior rooms are slightly larger than the standard rooms but benefit from the same styling. They are decorated in a perfect blend of old and new with bright colours, inspired by the Louis XVI epoch. The bathrooms are also in very good condition. There is a restaurant, where only breakfast is served, in an elegant, intimate atmosphere. The hotel offers another restaurant, which serves French cuisine and Danish dishes in a more modern atmosphere. It is a 17th century renovated building. The very large lobby is decorated in white marble with extensive use of light. In the middle of the lobby is a fountain. Beautiful chandeliers and traditional decor make this a delightful entrance. This is a high quality hotel, modern in the interior. There has been a conscious effort to maintain the grand charm of the original building. One of the best properties in Copenhagen.
